What Focus Shield does

When enabled and supported by the browser, Focus Shield can keep the screen awake and use confirmation steps around interruption-sensitive actions.

Screen wake lock during eligible running sessions.

Graceful behavior when browser capabilities are unavailable.

What it does not do

Focus Shield is not operating-system-level website blocking, surveillance, or a guarantee of uninterrupted work. It is a set of browser-level focus safeguards.
